Auto Nissan Dealer

I have a Nissan Versa hatchback SL 2007 model car, it has auto locks keyless entry and suddenly the rear?

passenger won’t lock. I have to manually lock the door for it to remain locked, yet all the other doors lock. This happened out of no where. I’ve played with the child locks and looked online to see what would cause this and get an idea of what is wrong, how to fix it, or get it fixed, before taking it to the repair shop. Any idea what might be happening and what I should try to have looked at? More than not, how much do you think it could cost, or if I could take it to a cerfified mechanic, or just the dealer?

While it does not happen often a electric motor in the lock actuator can fail. Just what extended warranty was made for. Or your car factory warranty 3 years or 36,000 miles. Some owners prefer to wait till something else fails to bring in there cars. Get er done
