Auto Repair Order Forms

What is wrong with this car?

I have a Cadillac Eldorado. I believe it is a 1984, or somewhere around that year. This Caddy was in good working order til my Grandmother had to stop driving it due to vision issues. I recently found that she still had this Cadillac and, needing a car myself, was thinking of taking it for myself.
However the car has not been used since 2004(at least that was the last time the tags were updated). I checked the oil in the engine and the antifreeze and all of it still seemed to be in liquid form, not dried up or anything. But when I try to start the car I get no response. I’m guessing the battery is probably dead. But does anyone have any other ideas of anything else that may have to be repaired or replaced on the car before it will be in good working order again? Any ideas any of you auto experts may have are excepted. Thanks to any that can give me any assistance.

If it hasn’t been used since 2004, it is almost certainly the battery. If when you try to turn the key, there is no sound (you can’t hear it trying to start) then I’d bet the farm on the fact that it just needs a new battery. If it’s trying to start but won’t fire, that’s a whole different story.
