Autocad For Mac Downloads

I’m searching for a new laptop…?

I’m about to buy a new laptop and am looking for suggestions on what specs I should get. I’m going to be using it at school (i’m a college student) and will be running programs like AutoCAD, Photoshop, a limited number of games, and also for downloading music and photos. I was also thinking about getting a TV tuner and/or GPS system because I travel a lot. I’m looking for suggestions on how much memory I should get, harddrive capacity, processor specs, brand issues, etc etc etc. I don’t think I can have a mac, although I would love one.

If you are going to be thinking ahead long term with the new Windows Vista coming out you should get at least this:

RAM: not less than 1GB
Hardrive: not less than 100GB
Graphics: Not integrated, but a dedicated card Probably at least one with 128Mb

Processor: At least Intel Core Duo, or even Better Core 2 Duo (2.0 Ghz)

Consider also extended warranty based on how long you will be in school. (At least 2 years)
