Automatic Knife Out The Front

Can you keep an OTF (out the front automatic) knife in your suitcase below deck in a plane?

I’m getting this really awesome knife that’s an automatic “out the front” knife for my birthday.I’m flying to Idaho and Montana for awhile but I don’t want to risk it being thrown away for any legal reasons at an airport….any help? It would be in the suitcase the WHOLE time.

Yes, as long as it is NOT carry on baggage, you can put basicly whatever you want in there. if your otf is expensive, ie microtech, dalton, protech, i suggest you pack it very securely because airlines sometimes tend to toss around baggage pretty recklessly sometimes. but. makesure you check the local laws, make sure that you can legaly own an otf, or an auto, because if you bag just happens to go through a random baggage check it could be confiscated. or worse.
