2005 Ford 500 battery is dead but my turning lights and interior lights flicker on and off. PLEASE HELP!!!?

My car didn’t start when I tried to start it. I thought it was the battery so I asked a friend for a jump start. Car starts and immediately take it to AutoZone to charge the battery. When the service man sees that my lights (exterior and interior) are flickering on and off he says it is not the battery. My car has a short circuit is what he told me. The car only starts with a jump start and the trac control and abs warning lights are on. Does anyone know what is wrong and how much am I looking at to fix? Just found out that I don’t have warranty!!!
