Is Yahoo Autosync still a working program or not?

I had a hard time finding the Yahoo Autosync program (had to go thru a search on Cnet.com) but finally I downloaded and installed it on my PC (I am running Vista). The installation workd fine, entered my Yahoo username and password but when I tried sync, it immediately failed and gave me a error message that YahooAutoSync stopped working. After doing some searches online, I found a few blogs stating that Yahoo has “quietly”, discontinued Yahoo Autosync…Does anyone if that’s true? If it is, what’s happening with Yahoo?!….

Autosync only works with certain versions of windows:

Yahoo! Autosync supports Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP Pro SP2, and Windows XP Home SP2.

If you installed SP3 for XP or you’re using Vista or Windows 7 you will have a problem with the program.
