Can you help me with my Simple Human automatic soap dispenser?

I hasve misplaced my manual and my soap dispenser keeps dispensing soal continuously. How do I get it to stop and only dispense when a hand is waved under it?

1. Take dispenser off the wall
2. Throw it in the garbage
