1989 mustang 5.0 differential leaking?

hi i have an 89 mustang lx convertible auto 5.0 and i am leaking rear end fluid from what i believe is a bad seal im wondering if all i need to do us unbolt the rear cover clean the surface and install the new one or is there more to it i have a decent knowledge of cars and can perform basic repairs in my garage and i don’t have any specialty tools (do have torque wrench though if they need to be torqued down) is there any i need if anyone has a step by step procedure on how to do this its much appreciated thank you
p.s. i don’t think it has limited slip when i punch it only one tire spins not for sure if that the way to determine that

its probably leaking from the front yoke and dripping backwards. clean up the area real good and watch for the leak, and where it is coming from. if its the yoke area the drive shaft has to be removed and the yoke also, in order to replace the seal. its pretty simple if done before, otherwise it can be a pain.
